Matt D’Abate is the President of Amsure, as well as the Commercial Insurance Manager. Matt has a broad background in both banking and insurance. Since joining the Adirondack Trust Company in 1996, Matt has held a variety of management roles including Assistant Vice President in branch banking, Marketing Specialist, Vice President and Marketing Manager, Senior Vice President, and Commercial Insurance Manager. In January of 2018, he was elected by the Board of Directors of the Adirondack Trust Company as the President of Amsure. Matt received his Master of Business Administration from Union College and Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Skidmore College. In addition, he has earned the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation. Matt is a current board member of the Saratoga Convention & Tourism Bureau, and is a past board member and treasurer for both the Saratoga Springs Downtown Business Association and Wellspring. Matt has also served as an assistant coach for Skidmore College baseball. Matt lives in Saratoga Springs with his wife Caroline, a business professor at Skidmore College, and his two daughters.
